Excited to announce the release of my Networks video!

NetWorks Rhode Island, a visual arts project, was initiated in 2008 by Rhode Island arts sponsor and collector Joseph A. Chazan, M.D.  Conceived with Umberto Crenca, artistic director of the alternative arts center AS220 in Providence, Rhode Island, NetWorks Rhode Island proposed to document, celebrate, and foster the richly creative and diverse professional visual arts community in contemporary Rhode Island through profiles of individual artists and their work.

See my full video on Youtube: (here).

Chazan book

It has been a great honor to be selected for inclusion in this recent publication about The Chazan Collection at The RISD Museum. This 144-page hardcover book celebrates four decades of gifts made by Dr. Joseph A. Chazan to the RISD Museum collections.

The book can be purchased on line (link) or at RISD Works Museum Store

Proud to announce a new series of my work has been acquired by The RISD Museum for inclusion in the permanent collection! The series of large porcelain platters use screen print imagery to highlight the function of outmoded buildings in Providence Rhode Island.

Images of work from the series can be found on the Museum's web site (here).

The Newport Art Museum is host to The biannual Networks Show. I was lucky enough to have have ten new large porcelain platters in the show. The Newport Art Museum is beautiful and I felt honored to be in a group show with such high caliber artists.

Images of work from the show can be found (here).

I was commissioned by The Museum of Fine Arts Boston to make a series of image saturated Thirsty cups representing six mega cities highlighted by this exhibition. It was an amazing opportunity to have the MFA selling my Thirsty cups as part of this magnificent contemporary art show.

See some of the Thirsty cups sold at this exhibit (here).
